Embrace of the Dead
Somewhere along the Welsh border, the folk in the insular village of Seeton continue to go about their daily business, unaware that the world around them is falling prey to the reanimated dead. Their routine lives are abruptly turned on their heads when a lone scientist arrives in their village, with the virus close behind.
Dean Kasnovski had arrived home, his mind laden with the guilt of leaving his fellow researchers to perish in the secret laboratory hidden deep under the streets of London.
Dean is positive that he can found a cure but time is running out, he isn’t the only one to arrive in the village. As the villagers’ departed ones return to feast on their warm bodies, Seeton’s surviving population direct their hate towards the strangers in the village.

Two decades have passed since that deadly mutagen turned most of our species into the walking dead. Now, millions of blighted corpses migrate across the land, consuming everything in their path.
The few surviving humans live a Nomadic existence, foraging for what little scraps they can find.
In this ravaged world, a lone hunter searches for his human sister, vowing revenge on whoever dared to rip her away from him. She had cared and looked after him, ever since the outbreak, nurturing the hunter, helping him come to grips with his affliction.

The survivors learn that each and every one of them carries a death sentence the virus circulating in their very bloodstreams. All different stories. Some were much better than others. I enjoyed them. One of the stories was a bit confusing so I had to re-read a few pages back to understand what was going on. Had to do that a few times. Once I got it, it was interesting, a different point of view of the plague .Product details

Started great. Ended in boresville.
I did not like this book. Where is the rest of the characters from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Am i missing something?
It was good
I love these books. I could not stop reading and consequently am now slightly sleep deprived.
First three books were quite good. Last book went a little off in an odd direction. Kinda went sci-fi and really caused me to loose interest.
This is a very interesting box set of books with different novels. I've enjoyed reading it very much!
I loved this series!! I can not wait til the next one! It's brilliant. Different from any zombie book ,I've ever read before and believe me, I've read a hell of a lot of them! Buy it ,you won't be disappointed!
